I am a part-time lecturer in the School of Physiotherapy at the Australian Catholic University, Brisbane campus. I also work clinically as a physiotherapist for Queensland Health at the Brighton Rehabilitation Unit. I completed my PhD in 2012 through the University of Queensland. My thesis investigated the benefits of early post-operative aquatic physiotherapy after total hip or knee replacement surgery. In 2014 I became a titled member of the Australian Physiotherapy Association in the area of gerontology.

My areas of research interest include: aquatic physiotherapy across a range of ages and conditions; vestibular assessment and rehabilitation; efficacy and outcomes of physiotherapy intervention in the transition from sub-acute rehabilitation back to home.
