Alison Owens is a Senior Lecturer in Higher Education at the Australian Catholic University and also an (adjunct) Associate Professor of Education at Central Queensland University (CQU) with over twenty-five years experience in teaching and researching education in University contexts. Alison is the recipient of multiple internal and external research grants and publishes widely on education topics. Alison completed her Doctorate in Education at UTS in 2006 and completed a PhD in Creative Arts at CQU in 2018. Alison is the author of the novel, Woolloomooloo Bad.
